Goals and tasks of the committee

Goal: Enhancing educational productivity by improving the performance of professors and students via constant evaluations

Tasks:

1. Evaluating educational departments and giving feedback to them to rectify deficiencies
2. Evaluating professors’ teaching methods and educational activities based on students’ ideas
3. Evaluating the performance of the heads of the departments based on the judgements of faculty members and the school’s vice-dean for education
4. Evaluating the performance of faculty members based on the explanations of the head of the department
5. Evaluating each of the faculty members based on their colleagues’ ideas
6. Evaluating faculty members based on their own ideas (self-evaluation)
7. Analyzingand determiningvalid and reliable criteria for the purpose of evaluation
8. Preparing questionnaires needed for evaluation
9. Collecting professors’ CVs and updating them at the end of each academic year
10. Recognizing andmanaging the school’s weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats
11. Evaluating educational programs on a regular basis
12. Directing and supervisingthe execution of practical and theoretical tests  and improving their quality
13. Assessing the quality of exam questions and analyzing their validity
14. Evaluating students’ educational progress
15. Sending the results of the analysis of exam questions to the educational departments so that they can revise and improve the quality of questions and tests
