Members of the council:

• Dr. Hdi Sadeghi, the dean of the school (the chairman of the council)
• Dr.  Mehdi  Vosoughi , the vice-dean of the school for research
• Dr. Abbas Abbasi, the head of the public health department
• Dr. Seyyed Ahmad Mokhtari, the head of the environmental health department
• Behzad Saranjam, the deputy head of the professional health department
• Dr. Yousef Hamidzadeh Arbabi, faculty member
• Dr. Mehdi Fazlzadeh, the vice-dean of the school for Education
• Dr. Pejman Mohammadi, faculty member
• Tayyebeh Sadeghi, the expert of research affairs (the secretary of the council)

Responsibilities of the council:

1. Deciding on and approving the research policies and priorities of the school
2. Analyzing and evaluating the thesis proposals of master’s degree students
3. Laying the ground for research and development, supporting research projects, improving the conditions of conducting research, and removing the obstacles in the way of scientific research
4. Investigating proposals of faculty members and students for writing or translating books
5. Planning to lay the ground for the implementation of the plans and programs approved by the university’s vice-chancellery for research
6. Analyzing and deciding on the research-related problems of students
7. Investigating applications of students from other universities to conduct the research projects related to their thesis in this school
8. Evaluating application of other universities to conduct joint projects
9. Evaluating application to execute industrial projects
10. Investigating research proposals offered by faculty members
11. Arrangingthe meetings of the research council of the school and holding meetings on a regular basis
12. Investigating proposals to hold workshops, conferences, seminars, etc. in the school
13. Announcing research-related rules, regulations, and directives to the faculty members
14. Analyzing and approving proposals to hold empowerment workshops for students
